EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ECNL SOUTH CAROLINA

More than 140 teams from more than 55 clubs will travel to the Palmetto State this weekend for ECNL South Carolina. The event will be very special for the majority of the teams and athletes participating, as it will be their first-ever ECNL event, and the excitement, atmosphere, and community of an ECNL event will be a totally unique experience.

Schedule: Every team is guaranteed three games in three days, playing competition of similar levels and designed to allow teams to play others outside of their conference. The full schedule can be found here.

Battle Tested: Coming out of ECNL South Carolina, Internationals SC’s U13 will be ready to go for the ECNL Champions League Playoffs, which are just around the corner. One of the top U13 teams in the country, Internationals SC will face three opponents who can also make the claim as one of the top teams in America. Friday, the Ohio club faces off against Loudoun Soccer from the Mid-Atlantic, followed up by a contest against the top-ranked Match Fit Academy from the North Atlantic Conference. The club then rounds out the event with a match against Solar SC from Texas. Three games against three of the top five teams in the country. That’s a sure-fire way to get ready for the ECNL National Playoffs next month. 

Electric Penn: Penn Fusion’s U14 squad is another team that will have a strong schedule at ECNL South Carolina. The team’s first game comes against Tennessee SC Friday, who is solidly in the ECNL Champions League field for the post-season. Saturday, Penn Fusion will face off against the Eclipse Select from the Midwest, and the team close out its weekend with a match against the Mid-Atlantic power Richmond United. All of Penn Fusion’s opponents are in the top half of the ECNL Champions League qualification, meaning the PA team will face tough competition and get a true taste of what they can expect at the ECNL National Playoffs in June.
