ECNL TO RECORD AND LIVE STREAM GAMES AT ARIZONA (FALL) AND SOUTH CAROLINA NATIONAL EVENTS
Richmond, VA (October 21, 2020) – The Elite Clubs National League announced today that the league will be recording and live-streaming all games at the girls ECNL Arizona (Fall) and the ECNL South Carolina National Events for the U16, U17 and U18/U19 age groups to support college identification and recruiting.
With the suspension of sport this spring due to COVID-19, and the ongoing Division 1 Recruiting Dead Period prohibiting Division 1 coaches from recruiting off campus until January 1, the league’s efforts to live stream and record these games will be a major support for the juniors and seniors who have missed so much recruiting opportunity over the past 8 months.
Between Division II, III and NAIA coaches on site, and the ability of any college in the country to watch online, these events will provide unprecedented visibility to the participating teams and players as the ECNL continues to push standards higher. All games recorded at the events will be available for viewing at no additional cost.
“We are really looking forward to finally seeing all of these teams and players back on the field together at a National Event, with the ability to once again play the sport they love and chase their college dreams,” said ECNL Girls Commissioner Jen Winnagle.
