The 2018 ECNL College Impact – Conference USA

RICHMOND, VA (November 27, 2018) – Ten years ago, the Girls ECNL transformed the landscape for girls’ soccer and began a movement that would impact all levels of women’s soccer. The ECNL College Impact catalogs the incredible impact ECNL Alums have on collegiate women’s soccer conferences across the country every year.

The ECNL College Impact for Conference USA includes all players currently active on C-USA rosters:

  • 169 ECNL Alums are currently playing in the C-USA.
  • C-USA Defensive Player of the Year (Dominique James), C-USA Midfielder of the Year (Lianne Mananquil) and C-USA Freshman of the Year (Hannah Tillett) are ECNL Alums.
  • 16 players on the C-USA First Team, Second Team and Third Team are ECNL Alums.
  • Over 50% of players from the C-USA Freshman Team are ECNL Alums.

The C-USA includes University of Alabama Birmingham, Florida Atlantic University, Florida International University, Louisiana Tech University, Marshall University, Middle Tennessee State University, University of North Carolina Charlotte, University of North Texas, Old Dominion University, Rice University, University of Southern Mississippi, University of Texas at El Paso, University of Texas San Antonio and Western Kentucky University.
