7 ECNL Alums Announced as Finalists for the 2018 Senior CLASS Award

RICHMOND, VA (October 22, 2018) – Each year, thirty NCAA Division I senior student-athletes are selected as candidates for the Senior CLASS Award which highlights achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition. The ECNL would like to congratulate the seven ECNL Alums who were named as finalists for the 2018 Senior CLASS Award.

Fifteen of the initial thirty student-athletes selected as candidates for this year’s Senior CLASS Award were ECNL Alums recognizing their talent as athletes and excellence in the classroom. CLASS is an acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School. This award focuses on the complete student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.

Fan voting is now open to help select the 2018 Senior Class Award winner, and fans are encouraged to vote here now through November 19, 2018. The winner will be determined by fan votes combined with media and Division I head coaches’ votes. The winner will be announced at the 2018 Women’s College Cup.
