First Midwest Conference Showcase Brings Together ECNL and Saint Louis Community

RICHMOND, VA (October 12, 2018) – This past weekend, SLSG-MO hosted the first ever Midwest Conference Showcase, bringing together eight ECNL Member Clubs in the Midwest Conference for a weekend of community service, great competition, and collegiate exposure.

This event was held at SLSG-MO’s WWT Soccer Park, one of the premier facilities in the country, with friendly competition between the U15, U16 and U17 age groups.  The event allowed great exposure to Midwest colleges for the players, and created a fantastic atmosphere of community between the players, coaches, and clubs.

The Midwest Showcase coincided with an event hosted weekly by SLSG-MO and the Special Needs Soccer Association (SPENSA). ECNL players from multiple Midwest clubs, along with numerous ECNL Alums currently at Saint Louis University and other St. Louis soccer programs, volunteered with the SPENSA event in an exceptional day of soccer fellowship. The experience participating in such a special event was impactful for all of the players.

The ECNL would like to thank St. Louis Scott Gallagher for hosting this new event at their wonderful facility, and to SPENSA for making the experience about more than a game.
