2018 ECNL International Coaching Education Program, Powered by World Football Academy, To Be Held in Portugal
RICHMOND, VA (May 9, 2018) – The Elite Clubs National League is excited to announce that the second annual ECNL International Coaching Education Program will be held in December 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal, powered by World Football Academy and in conjunction with Benfica, one of the most renowned development clubs in the world.
Last year, the inaugural ECNL International Coaching Education Program was held in Spain with Valencia CF and World Football Academy, and provided an incredible learning and development opportunity. The trip to Benfica will provide more information and new perspectives on development and methodology from some of the foremost coaches and educators in the world.
Participating coaches will travel to Lisbon, Portugal to take part in two educational courses: one provided by World Football Academy (WFA) founder Raymond Verheijen and one provided through the coaches and directors of the Benfica Academy. Throughout the courses, coaches will also observe youth trainings and a professional match.

December 9: Arrival in Lisbon
December 10: Benfica Academy Course – Day 1
December 11: Benfica Academy Course – Day 2
December 12: Benfica Academy Course – Day 3
December 13: WFA course – Day 1
December 14: WFA course – Day 2
December 15: WFA course – Day 3
December 16: Departure to USA
