The Girls ECNL Announces Courtney Elliott as the New Operations Coordinator
RICHMOND, VA (March 27, 2018) – The Girls Elite Clubs National League is pleased to announce that Courtney Elliott has been hired as the Operations Coordinator. Elliott will assist with day-to-day operations, with a focus on program coordination and management, events and inventory support. She will work alongside the Program Manager to ensure all Girls ECNL programming logistics are executed.
Elliott grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia as a multi-sport athlete, playing lacrosse, basketball and swimming. Following high school, she continued her education and lacrosse career at Lynchburg College, where she was a three-year starter. Off the field, Elliott was co-founder of the Recycling Club, and avid member of the Garden Club.
“I am excited to officially welcome Courtney to the Girls ECNL staff.” said Jen Winnagle, ECNL Commissioner. “Her strong work ethic and meticulous time management skills will improve league operations, as we continue to raise standards for elite female soccer players across the country.”

Q: What is your favorite hometown restaurant?
A: Mas Tapas, specifically their bacon wrapped dates and carne asada.
Q: What is something that most people do not know about you?
A: I am a huge bookworm. I love to read.
Q: If you could fly anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
A: I would go to Haiti and volunteer at my uncle’s orphanage, Haitian Angels.
Q: What is your favorite quote? What does it mean to you?
A: “You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” My dad introduced this quote to me, and it gives me the extra push to believe in myself and face challenges head on.
Q: Who is your favorite actor/actress?
A: Leonardo DiCaprio.
Q: What is your favorite emoji?
A: Praising hands.
Q: If you could have one superpower, what would you chose and why?
A: I would love to be a mind reader so I could tell what people are really thinking and know if they telling the truth.
Q: Do you have any superstitions that you follow? If so, what are they?
A: I try to avoid black cats crossing streets. I don’t want any bad luck coming my way!
Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?
A: Pay off my student loans, give my parents most of it for all of their financial support, and donate to charities.
Q: What is your favorite board game?
A: My favorite game is “What Do You Meme.” It’s not technically a board game, but I highly recommend it. I love a good meme!
