The ECNL College Impact – Pac-12 Conference

RICHMOND, VA (November 15, 2017) – With ECNL Alums making up over 65% of the entire Pac-12 in 2017, and 83% of the conference’s honorees, the ECNL College Impact on the Pac-12 is overwhelming. The ECNL College Impact series catalogs the incredible impact of ECNL Alums on collegiate women’s soccer every year. In 2017, once again, ECNL Alums are dominating the landscape in conferences all over the country.

The ECNL College Impact for the Pac-12 Conference includes all players currently active on Pac-12 rosters:

  • 219 ECNL Alums are currently playing in the Pac-12 Conference, nearly 66% of the players in the entire conference.
  • 19 players from the Pac-12 First and Second Team are ECNL Alums.
  • 11 of the 12 players from the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team are ECNL Alums.
  • The Pac-12 Forward and Freshmen of the Year is ECNL Alum and October S’Hero Catarina Macario.
  • Pac-12 Midfielder of the Year (Andi Sullivan), Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year (Tierna Davidson) and Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Year (Emily Boyd) are ECNL Alums.

The Pac-12 includes the University of Arizona, Arizona State University, University of California, University of Colorado, University of Oregon, Oregon State University, Stanford University, University of California Los Angeles, University of Southern California, University of Utah, University of Washington, and Washington State University.

With ECNL Alums constituting the majority of the conference and the overwhelming majority of conference honorees, it is clear where the future Pac-12 stars are playing youth soccer.
