The ECNL College Impact – Big South Conference
RICHMOND, VA (November 8, 2017) – The ECNL College Impact series catalogs the incredible impact of ECNL Alums on collegiate women’s soccer every year. In 2017, once again, ECNL Alums are dominating the landscape in conferences all over the country.
The ECNL College Impact for the Big South Conference includes all players currently active on Big South rosters:
- 87 ECNL alumni are currently playing in the Big South Conference.
- There were 35 ECNL alums in the 2017 Big South freshman class, over one-third of the class.
- 12 players of the 2017 Big South Conference Honorees are ECNL alums.
- The Big South Scholar Athlete of the Year (Teresa Fruchterman) is an ECNL alum.
The Big South Conference includes Campbell University, Charleston Southern University, Gardner-Webb University, High Point University, Liberty University, Longwood University, Presbyterian College, Radford University, University of North Carolina at Asheville, and Winthrop University.
