ECNL National Events: An Inspired & Unrivaled Playing Environment
RICHMOND, VA (March 23, 2017) – In 2009, the ECNL changed the landscape for youth female soccer players in the United States and massively elevated the quality of their soccer experience. The incredible atmosphere and excitement created at every ECNL National Event each season is just one of many ways that the league inspires players to be their best every day.
ECNL National Events are the pinnacle stage for college soccer recruiting in the United States, with several hundred colleges represented at each ECNL National Event, and almost every Division I school in the country in attendance at the ECNL Playoffs.
While college recruiting is a primary focus of the ECNL National Events, the league also creates an unmatched atmosphere of professionalism for participating teams and players. Whether it is field after field of nearly perfect grass, Gatorade products provided pre-, during, and post-game at every game, or the ECNL logo proudly displayed on the sideline and on corner flags, tents, and more, every detail reminds players of the great stage they are on in order to challenge, inspire, and motivate them to be their best.
The ECNL also uses National Events to educate players on recovery and proper care of their bodies through The Zone, a groundbreaking health and wellness destination at every event created specifically to meet the unique needs of elite teen female athletes. At The Zone, players learn pre-competition activation exercises, receive pre-game taping and other treatments, get access to pre-and post-competition nutrition, and go through state of the art recovery and rejuvenation protocols post-game. While in The Zone, the players are surrounded with messages and information on leadership and achievement from former players – either in-person or through special digital messaging from ECNL alums, college stars, and professional players.
