ECNL College Impact – The Western Athletic Conference

RICHMOND, VA (November 28, 2016) – Elite Clubs National League College Impact series catalogs the incredible impact the ECNL has had on college women’s soccer since its founding in 2009, and which increases every year. Across college soccer, the “ECNL player” is the epitome of the next generation collegiate soccer player and collegiate soccer star.

The ECNL College Impact is measured by the number of ECNL alumni that have moved on to collegiate soccer, and by their contribution to collegiate athletic conferences all over the United States. This week, the ECNL examines the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).

The ECNL College Impact for the Western Athletic Conference includes all players currently active on WAC rosters:

  • 69 ECNL Alums are currently playing in the WAC.
  • 7 of the 11 players on the All-WAC First Team are ECNL Alums.
  • The WAC Offensive Player of the Year, Brie Hooks, is an ECNL Alum.

The Western Athletic Conference includes California State University Bakersfield, Chicago State University, Grand Canyon University, University of Missouri- Kansas City, New Mexico State, Seattle University, University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and Utah Valley University.
