ECNL College Impact – The West Coast Conference

RICHMOND, VA (November 28, 2016) – Elite Clubs National League College Impact series catalogs the incredible impact the ECNL has had on college women’s soccer since its founding in 2009, and which increases every year. Across college soccer, the “ECNL player” is the epitome of the next generation collegiate soccer player and collegiate soccer star.

The ECNL College Impact is measured by the number of ECNL alumni that have moved on to collegiate soccer, and by their contribution to collegiate athletic conferences all over the United States. This week, the ECNL examines the West Coast Conference.

The ECNL College Impact for the West Coast Conference includes all players currently active on West Coast rosters:

  • 152 ECNL Alums are currently playing in the West Coast which accounts for nearly 60% of the conferenceNearly 68% of freshmen in the West Coast Conference are ECNL Alums.
  • 12 players on the All-West Coast First and Second Teams are ECNL Alums.
  • The West Coast Defensive Player of the Year, Taylor Isom, is an ECNL Alum.

The West Coast Conference includes Brigham Young University, Gonzaga University, Loyola Marymount University, University of the Pacific, Pepperdine University, University of Portland, St. Mary’s College, University of San Diego, University of San Francisco and Santa Clara University.
