ECNL College Impact – The Sun Belt Conference

RICHMOND, VA (November 27, 2016) – Elite Clubs National League College Impact series catalogs the incredible impact the ECNL has had on college women’s soccer since its founding in 2009, and which increases every year. Across college soccer, the “ECNL player” is the epitome of the next generation collegiate soccer player and collegiate soccer star.

The ECNL College Impact is measured by the number of ECNL alumni that have moved on to collegiate soccer, and by their contribution to collegiate athletic conferences all over the United States. This week, the ECNL examines the Sun Belt Conference.

The ECNL College Impact for the Sun Belt Conference includes all players currently active on Sun Belt rosters:

  • 144 ECNL Alums are currently playing in the Sun Belt.
  • 7 players of the All-Sun Belt First and Second Teams are ECNL Alums.
  • The Sun Belt Freshman Player of the Year, Alexis Jordan, is an ECNL Alum.

 The Sun Belt Conference includes Appalachian State University, University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Arkansas State University, Coastal Carolina University, Georgia Southern University, Georgia State University,  University of Louisiana Lafayette, University of Louisiana Monroe, University of South Alabama, Texas State University and Troy University.
