ECNL College Impact – The Summit League
RICHMOND, VA (November 23, 2016) – Elite Clubs National League College Impact series catalogs the incredible impact the ECNL has had on college women’s soccer since its founding in 2009, and which increases every year. Across college soccer, the “ECNL player” is the epitome of the next generation collegiate soccer player and collegiate soccer star.
The ECNL College Impact is measured by the number of ECNL alumni that have moved on to collegiate soccer, and by their contribution to collegiate athletic conferences all over the United States. This week, the ECNL examines the Summit League.
The ECNL College Impact for the Summit League includes all players currently active on Summit League rosters:
- 89 ECNL Alums are currently playing in the Summit League.
- 54% of the players of the All-Summit League First Team are ECNL Alums.
- The Summit League Goalkeeper of the Year, Brittany Wilson, and the Summit League Freshman Player of the Year, Hannah Adler, are ECNL Alums.
The Summit League includes University of Denver, Indiana University- Fort Wayne, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, University of Nebraska Omaha, North Dakota State University, Oral Roberts University, University of South Dakota, South Dakota State University and Western Illinois University.
