ECNL College Impact – The Ohio Valley Conference

RICHMOND, VA (November 21, 2016) – Elite Clubs National League College Impact series catalogs the incredible impact the ECNL has had on college women’s soccer since its founding in 2009, and which increases every year. Across college soccer, the “ECNL player” is the epitome of the next generation collegiate soccer player and collegiate soccer star.

The ECNL College Impact is measured by the number of ECNL alumni that have moved on to collegiate soccer, and by their contribution to collegiate athletic conferences all over the United States. This week, the ECNL examines the Ohio Valley Conference.

The ECNL College Impact for the Ohio Valley Conference includes all players currently active on Ohio Valley rosters:

  • 67 ECNL Alums are currently playing in the Ohio Valley Conference- 23 of those ECNL Alums are freshmen.
  • 6 of the All-Ohio Valley honorees are ECNL Alums.

The Ohio Valley Conference includes Austin Peay State University, Belmont University, Eastern Illinois University, Eastern Kentucky University, Jacksonville State University, Morehead State University, Murray State University, Southeast Missouri State University, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Tennessee Technological University and University of Tennessee at Martin.
