ECNL College Impact – The Missouri Valley Conference
RICHMOND, VA (November 17, 2016) – Elite Clubs National League College Impact series catalogs the incredible impact the ECNL has had on college women’s soccer since its founding in 2009, and which increases every year. Across college soccer, the “ECNL player” is the epitome of the next generation collegiate soccer player and collegiate soccer star.
The ECNL College Impact is measured by the number of ECNL alumni that have moved on to collegiate soccer, and by their contribution to collegiate athletic conferences all over the United States. This week, the ECNL examines the Missouri Valley Conference
The ECNL College Impact for the Missouri Valley Conference includes all players currently active on Missouri Valley rosters:
- 60 ECNL Alums are currently playing in the Missouri Valley- Nearly 0ne-third of the freshmen are ECNL Alums.
- 12 players of the All-Missouri Valley First and Second Teams are ECNL Alums and 50% of the players on the All-Freshman Team are ECNL Alums.
- The Missouri Valley Defensive Player of the Year, Paige Jarsombeck, and Missouri Valley Goalkeeper of the Year, Whitney Biggs, are ECNL Alums
The Missouri Valley Conference includes Drake University, University of Evansville, Illinois State University, Indiana State University, Loyola University, Missouri State University and University of Northern Iowa.
