ECNL College Impact – The CAA
RICHMOND, VA (November 12, 2016) – Elite Clubs National League College Impact series catalogs the incredible impact the ECNL has had on college women’s soccer since its founding in 2009, and which increases every year. Across college soccer, the “ECNL player” is the epitome of the next generation collegiate soccer player and collegiate soccer star.
The ECNL College Impact is measured by the number of ECNL alumni that have moved on to collegiate soccer, and by their contribution to collegiate athletic conferences all over the United States. This week, the ECNL examines the CAA Conference.
The ECNL College Impact for the CAA Conference includes all players currently active on CAA rosters:
- 124 ECNL Alums are currently playing in the CAA Conference.
- The CAA Player of the Year, Ashley Herdon, CAA Co-Defensive Player of the Year, Clara Logsdon, and CAA Rookie of the Year, Haley Crawford are ECNL Alums.
- 73% of players from the CAA First Team are ECNL Alums- 19 players on the CAA First Team, Second Team and All-Rookie Team are ECNL Alums.
The CAA includes the College of Charleston, University of Delaware, Drexel University, Elon University, Hofstra University, James Madison University, University of North Carolina Wilmington, Northeastern University, Towson University and the College of William and Mary.
