ECNL College Impact – The American Athletic Conference

RICHMOND, VA (November 7, 2016) – Elite Clubs National League College Impact series catalogs the incredible impact the ECNL has had on college women’s soccer since its founding in 2009, and which increases every year. Across college soccer, the “ECNL player” is the epitome of the next generation collegiate soccer player and collegiate soccer star.

The ECNL College Impact is measured by the number of ECNL alumni that have moved on to collegiate soccer, and by their contribution to collegiate athletic conferences all over the United States. This week, the ECNL examines the American Athletic Conference.

The ECNL College Impact for the American Athletic Conference includes all players currently active on American Athletic rosters:

  • 128 ECNL Alums are currently playing in the American Athletic Conference – more than 45% of the conference.
  • 8 players of the American Athletic All-Conference honorees are ECNL Alums.

The American Athletic Conference includes the University of Central Florida, University of Cincinnati, University of Connecticut, East Carolina University, University of Houston, University of Memphis, University of South Florida, Southern Methodist University, Temple University, and University of Tulsa.
