ECNL Coaching Development Initiative Registration Open

ECNL_Logo_final_colorRICHMOND, VA (June 14, 2016) – The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) launched the first ECNL Coaching Development Initiative (CDI) in the 2012-2013 season, and since that event has hosted nearly a dozen coaching education programs across the country to share knowledge and best practices in youth development from across the world.

ECNL Coaching Development Initiatives are a key part of accomplishing the league’s mission to “Raise the Game”, and are offered at no charge to ECNL coaches.  Each program is scheduled in conjunction with an ECNL National Event, with presenters from a variety of backgrounds and experiences to provide a diverse set of opinions and perspectives on the game, player development, and more.

Mark Krikorian will be presenting at the ECNL CDI in Oceanside, CA in conjunction with the 2016 ECNL Playoffs.  Krikorian has coached at nearly every level of women’s soccer, in a career studded with honors and accolades.  In his 11 years at FSU, Krikorian has led the program to the 2014 NCAA National Championship, 3 NCAA national championship appearances, and 8 College Cups.  Prior to his time at Florida State, Krikorian led the US U19 National Team to the Bronze Medal at the 2004 World Cup, and was the head coach of the Philadelphia Charge in the WUSA – the country’s first professional women’s soccer league.
