US Youth National Team Fall Roster Updates

USWNT LOGO (Black)RICHMOND, VA (October 5, 2015) – The United States Girl’s National Teams have invited numerous players to training camps this fall.  The U20, U19 and U15 teams each announced the rosters for their most recent training camps, with ECNL players well represented.  This accomplishment speaks to the quality of competition within the ECNL, and the progression of player development within the ECNL Member Clubs.

The U15 USGNT announced the 24 player roster for a training camp held last month, September 5-12, as the coaching staff continues to deepen the player pool for the 2016 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.  Over 72% of training camp invitees are current ECNL players.

The U19 USWNT announced the 24 player roster for a training camp held October 3-10, for the final camp of the year for this age group.  All but three players play in the ECNL, and are competing for a chance to play in the 2016 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.

The U20 USWNT announced the 24 player roster for camp and a trip to Central America held on September 19-25, where they defeated Honduras 5-0.  Over 90% of players at camp are current ECNL players or ECNL alums.
