(February 25, 2015) – The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), the nation’s premier female youth soccer development platform is heading to Fort Worth, Texas for it’s third National Event of the 2014-2015 Season.  Thousands of talented players from the top girls soccer clubs around the country will come together for three days of fierce competition.

Since the inception of the ECNL in 2009, the league has helped elevate female soccer at all levels across the country.  The ECNL National Event Series has become essential for identifying and tracking top players, characterized by a high density of elite talent and an advanced level of play.

As part of its mission to enhance the developmental experience of female youth soccer players in the United States, ECNL stages five National Events throughout the season.  Each event brings upwards of 3,000 hotel room nights and an estimated $3-4 million in direct economic impact to its host community.

The ECNL Texas National Event will be held at the Rolling Hills Soccer Complex, where over 200 NCAA and NAIA college coaches and U.S. Soccer scouts will be in attendance.  The ECNL National Event Series features U15, U16, U17 and U18 action in a group play format with each team competing in one match per day from Friday through Sunday.

There are five National Events throughout the season.  The ECNL opened with the ECNL Phoenix National Event in November, followed by the ECNL Florida National Event in December.  The final two events will take place in San Diego, California April 10-12 and Zarephath, New Jersey May 23-25.

This week’s National Event in Fort Worth, along with the league’s four other National Events in Phoenix, AZ, Sanford, FL, San Diego, CA and Zarephath, NJ, will help determine the qualifiers for the ECNL Post-Season.  The ECNL National Play-Offs for the U15-U17 ECNL teams, and the ECNL National Finals for the U14 and U18 ECNL teams will take place in Seattle, WA June 25-30.  The final leg of the National Event Series will end in Richmond, VA with the ECNL National Champions for the U15-U17 ECNL teams will be crowned.
